Hannah Parsons

Hello and welcome! I’m Hannah Parsons.

As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida (license number IMH22935), my work focuses on helping couples, families, and individuals build healthier, happier, and more fulfilling relationships.

I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients overcome emotional and psychological roadblocks that result in disconnection, conflict, and insecurity in their relationships. EFT is particularly effective in helping couples and individuals foster a secure attachment within themselves and with one another, which allows their relationships to flourish and grow.

More About Me:

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia, where I proceeded to work as a clinical neuroscience researcher, exploring various aspects of emotion, cognition, behavior, and psychophysiology. I was honored to be a co-author on several peer-reviewed publications, which deepened my understanding of the complexities of human behavior and the many factors that influence how we relate to ourselves and others.

I went on to complete my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I believe that every individual possesses inherent worth, purpose, and the capacity for growth. My goal is to support couples and individuals on their journey to heal, transform, and restore healthy connections in their lives.

I personally believe that walking in the redemptive grace and love of Jesus is the ultimate path toward healing, and when welcomed by clients, I love to integrate a Biblical worldview into sessions; however, this is not a requirement for receiving sound, professional care as my client.

For questions about my services or scheduling, please feel free to contact me at hparsonscounseling@gmail.com or (904) 395-5855.

I look forward to hearing from you!
